A Message for Independent Hairdressers...

I’m So Appreciative!….

Once again, I recently received a wonderful comment from a hairdresser who is presently going through my Haircutting Course at VelascoHaircuttingSystem.com…

There are two interesting points to this message that Sandra sent to me the other day that I would like to address separately.

First of all, you should know that Sandra is not new to the hairdressing industry. Fact is she’s been a hairdresser for well over a decade, but as she says in her comment below: “I used to get nervous when someone came in with a picture and I had to try to think how was I going to do it“…

This is NOT unusual at all….Many Hairdressers who have been doing hair for decades still lack confidence in their Haircutting Skills and are hesitant when someone comes in wanting a specific style that they saw Online or a Photograph of their Friends Haircut.

You see, Sandra is an independent hairdresser… She owns her own small salon that is attached to her home. So, she doesn’t have the opportunity to learn by watching other hairdresser do their work…

These days a very large percentage of hairdressers fall into this same category….Maybe they own a small Salon in their home like Sandra does, Or they Rent a Salon Suite, Or they work in a salon where other hairdressers aren’t willing to share their techniques with anyone else…
